TMobile Voicemail Upgrade Problems - Part Two

I have been getting a lot of hits on my blog recently for people searching for a variety of problems with their TMobile voicemail. When the upgrade happened, I actually called customer service to ask about the problem. I was told that there weren't any problems and they weren't getting any complaints. I think the 10 or so hits I am getting each day for search strings like "Tmobile Voicemail Upgrade" or "Tmobile Voicemail Problems" says other wise. I think I am going to throw in another call as I missed two voicemails last night...

Kind of strange that T-Mobile is just now getting support for a voicemail notification icon, huh? That seems like a day-one kind of thing.

I haven't been able to access my T-Mobile voice mail from my home phone (VOIP) for 4 days. When I call, they just say there is a trouble ticket and they are working on it. That tells me they don't have a clue as to what the problem really is.

Strangely, it worked fine for the first month and now nothing.

2-7-12 I haven't been able to retrieve voicemails for week n half; their recording doesn't respond to the pressing of 1 to listen to the message. Some of the messages don't show up for 3-4 days. Customer service is unprofessional and the phone menu maze is atrocious. They essentially told me; "some of our customers cannot access their voicemail because of our s/w upgrade and we have NO idea what the timeframe for a repair is"; "and no, voicemail is not a contractual requirement that would give you grounds for cancellation, it is a 'free feature'!. This happens to be the phone I use for work and the number I give to Dr.s. Unbelievable!!
